The library is open for you and your children to borrow books.
We have a great KS1 area, full of colourful picture books to share and books to support your child as they learn to read on their own. Older children have a large variety of fiction and non-fiction to choose from and reading challenges. There are also copies of all the Recommended Reading books from the list found in the back of your child’s planner.
The library will be open for everyone at the following times:
KS2 children can also borrow books during their morning break and at lunchtime, according to the timetable. Children can borrow ONE library book at a time and keep the same book for up to two weeks.
Children can change their books before and after school as they wish.
We also have a BOOK SWAP – where books in the Book Swap area with a blue sticker on the front cover can be swapped with fellow pupils. This is to encourage children to engage with each other and share their favourite books. These books can be borrowed in addition to your child’s one library book.
Our librarian, Miss Windmill is there to help with any questions children may have about books and reading.
